In an ever more connected world we see more and more companies - especially within the IoT domain - set out on their product and service journeys by having global scalability in their plans from the very beginning.
Global scalability for IoT-based solutions, however, ensues many needs, one of them is to be able to connect IoT devices globally.
Connectivity Management Platform
The Cobira Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) is a whitelabel product providing Customer Access to a single-pane-of-glass management solution that empowers Service Providers and Connectivity Customers to take control of their SIM card inventory and connectivity services to maximize the value-add for their unique service offerings.
It is offered as a value-added software service (SaaS) for MVNOs and Resellers allowing them to easily onboard and manage their customers in a multi-tenanted environment.
Inventory management
The SIM and Connectivity management tools helps the service providers keep track of their SIM/Device inventory and provides the ability to configure and provision both SIM Cards and connectivity services in accordance with the relevant connectivity-based use-cases.
Built for production
The single-pane-of-glass (SPOG) monitoring and automation tools provided by the Cobira Connectivity Management Platform arms customers with the ability to automate their NOC and monitoring job by providing the required knobs and handles to build relevant automation rules based on event triggers and alerts. All of this is to ensure that the mobile connectivity link will be as seamless as possible to manage in operation, to allow the customer to focus on other aspects of delivering their service offering.
API-first design
Extendibility is at the core of the architecture and design of the Connectivity Management Platform and all functionality and features begin their life with an API-first design approach. This also means that all of what can be achieved in the CMP Portal - and more - is possible via the RESTful APIs.
The API documentation follows the OpenAPI Specification (OAS) - that as well as the best practice articles and support documentation is all ensuring a frictionless developer experience when expanding or integrating on top of the Cobira CMP.
Value for MVNOs, Resellers and IoT Suppliers
Fastlane to new revenue streams
The Connectivity Management Platform is a value-added service that plays a key part in the Cobira offering that helps aspiring MVNOs and Resellers to quickly get started and set up a new business leg offering connectivity. The service is designed around the idea of bringing time and cost to a minimum for having a deployed Customer Access portal able to serve new Service Provider and Connectivity customers.
Multi-Tenant customer access
The multi-tenanted design ensures that the Connectivity Management Platform can easily and efficiently handle multiple customers of the MVNO/Reseller. The customers are all treated as individual tenants on the platform and all access to management, insights and monitoring tools for the assigned SIMs and services will be exclusively allowed for that customer.
Native whitelabel support
Brand recognition is important and riding on the back of that, the Connectivity Management Platform value-added-service has been designed with an option of further branding the customer facing elements to ensure the service can fit and complement the existing branding universe of the MVNO.
Flexible deployment
The CMP is built as a standalone service that allows the MVNO customer full administrative control over the instance and tenants. It can be delivered as a hosted solution or an on-premise deployment.
